FRANKFORT, KY – Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear has designated Todd P. Lowe as Chair and Everett D. McCorvey as Vice-Chair of the Kentucky Arts Council.

• Lowe, of Louisville, is president of Parthenon, LLC, an investment management firm. He received his Bachelors of Science in Finance from Western Kentucky University.
   
• McCorvey, of Lexington, is a professor at the University of Kentucky. He received is Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Alabama.

The Kentucky Arts Council is made up of 16 members appointed by the governor. The council develops and promotes support for the arts in Kentucky.
