Governor Beshear Appoints Member to Kentucky Law Enforcement Council
FRANKFORT, KY – Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear has appointed June G. Hudson to serve as a member of the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council.
Hudson is a retired employee from the Kentucky Department of Parks where she worked for 27 years. She has served as park commissioner for the department. Hudson currently is the office manager for Liberty Tax Service in Paducah. She and her husband, Wallace, reside in Benton.
The appointment replaces B. J. Honeycutt. Hudson shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending July 1, 2010.
The Kentucky Law Enforcement Council is a 20 member body, 12 of whom are appointed by the governor. The council governs training for all of the state’s law enforcement. It looks for ways to increase the quality of law enforcement by improving the curriculum used to train law enforcement officials and monitoring the abilities of the instructors who teach the required curriculum.
