Governor Beshear Appoints Student Member to Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education
FRANKFORT, Ky. – Governor Steve Beshear has appointed Christopher J. Crumrine to serve as a student member of the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education.
Crumrine, of Lexington, is currently pursing a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Kentucky. He received his Bachelors of Mass Communications from the University of Kentucky. Crumrine is the strategic programs assistant for Phi Gamma Delta International Fraternity. He previously served as chief of staff of the Student Government Association at the University of Kentucky.
Crumrine represents a student at a state institution of postsecondary education. The appointment replaces Ryan Quarles, whose term has expired. Crumrine shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2009.
The Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education is a 16 member board appointed by the governor. The council is the state coordinating board for postsecondary and adult education in Kentucky.
