MANCHESTER, KY. ---(August 9, 2007)— The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announces that construction on the Cumberland Gap Tunnel in Bell County has been completed.

The Southbound tunnel was reopened to traffic at approx. 2:00 AM, Thursday, August 9, 2007.

The Wide Load restriction has been lifted.
