MANCHESTER, KY. ---(August 27, 2007)— The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announces a Bridge Closure on KY 223 in Knox County near MP 4.5 this afternoon, August 27, 2007.

The Bridge that crosses over Road Fork of Stinking Creek, located ½ mile north of the Jct. of KY 718 will be closed to all traffic until repairs can be completed.  Barricades will be placed to prevent traffic entering the structure.

Motorists should seek alternate routes during the closure.
