FRANKFORT, Ky. As the holidays approach, sales at the "Kentucky Unbridled Spirit" online gift store continue to be brisk.

“While we don't have sales numbers yet, revenue and visits to the Kentucky Unbridled Spirit Web store have doubled in the last month," said Brad Caldwell, Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Kentucky Department of Tourism. "We've had particular success with sales of new promotions including Kentucky Unbridled Spirit Breeders Cup items, plus UK and U of L football jerseys sporting the Kentucky brand."

Caldwell says orders can still be taken and filled before Christmas. "We've added some new on-line items for the winter including a stylish denim jacket for ladies and new sweatshirts for all," Caldwell said. "In addition, young people are snapping up our new "FunKY" T-shirts, and the branded polos and button-downs are perfect to wear at the office. Plus, we have a great number of last minute stocking stuffers."

The store's Web address is www.KentuckyUnbridledSpirit.com.  In addition to online sales, many Kentucky retailers offer Kentucky Unbridled Spirit merchandise, including area Wal-Marts, major airports, resort park gift shops, the Kentucky History Center, the Kentucky Horse Park and the Kentucky Artisan Center.
