BLOOMFIELD, Ky. – The Springhill Plantation Bed and Breakfast is planning to add dramatic entertainment to its list of activities during Valentine’s season.

Springhill B&B invites overnight guests and other plantation and winery visitors to enjoy “Guerilla Gold,” a night of live drama entertainment, wine, and hors d'oeuvres on two Saturday nights in February.

On Feb. 10 and 17, guests will be treated to a raucous comedy-drama about Civil War Confederate legends who terrorized Union soldiers and sympathizers across Kentucky during the week and returned to Bloomfield to spend the weekend with their girlfriends. Each rebel partisan had his own mission of revenge until they heard of a shipment of Union gold passing through the area. Their big mistake was letting the girls in on the secret.

Reservations are required due to limited seating. Tickets are $29.95 per person. Additional performance dates are also planned.

Valentine gift baskets are also available with a custom-made wine label and other Springhill treats such as chocolates, cheese and crackers waiting in your suite. Those not staying at the B&B can call or come into the gift shop and order a special basket.
