The Council on Postsecondary Education will sponsor the second annual Kentucky Student Success Summit on April 15-16, 2013, at the Louisville Marriott East.

The summit, targeted toward higher education faculty, staff, and administrators, will focus on the elements of student success and showcase best practices in developing and implementing first year experiences and learning communities.

The agenda includes presentations by the following nationally known speakers:

  • Vincent Tinto, Distinguished University Professor at Syracuse University and the former Chair of the Higher Education Program.
  • Joe Cuseo, professor emeritus, psychology, and educational consultant.
  • Jeff Selingo, editor at large of The Chronicle of Higher Education and senior fellow at Education Sector.
