Tech Adventure Camps at General Butler State Resort Park

CARROLLTON, Ky. – General Butler State Resort Park will host Tech Adventure Camps in June and July for children in grades 1-8.

 

The Monday-through-Thursday camps are sponsored by All About Learning and Lego and cover science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts.  Students will also participate in supervised recreational activities at the park.

 

The camp fee is $149.95 per child, per week. Registration is required and can be made by calling the park at 1-866-462-8853. Lodging is also available at General Butler State Resort Park.

 

Here are the dates and camp details:

 

June 10-13         Junior Vehicle Engineering ™ (JVE)

                                  1st– 3rd Grades  8:00 am—Noon

 

June 10-13     Vehicle Engineering ® (VE)

                               4th-8th Grades  1:00 pm– 5:00 pm

 

June 17-20     Junior Engineering ™ (JE1)

                               1st-3rd Grades  8:00 am—Noon

 

June 17-20     Collision Cars ™ (CC)

                               4th-8th Grades   1:00 pm– 5:00 pm

 

July 15-18       Junior Engineering  ™ (JE2)

                               1st-3rd Grades 8:00 am—Noon

 

July 15-18       Video Game Making ™ (VGM)

                               4th-8th Grades  1:00 pm– 5:00 pm

                                   *must provide own laptop

 

July 22-25      Junior Vehicle Engineering ™ (JVE)

                               1st-3rd Grades  8:00 am—Noon

 

July 22-25      Elementary Engineering ™ (EE)

                               4th-8th Grades 1:00 pm –5:00 pm

 

 

 General Butler State Resort Park has a lodge, cottages, Two Rivers Restaurant, conference center, campground, golf course and recreational lake.
