LOUISVILLE, Ky. – E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park announces its first archery league, set to begin competition the week of April 29.
The park’s outdoor range will be reserved 6-8 p.m. weekdays for the league competition. Here is the schedule:
Youth Beginner; compound bow, Mondays; ages 7-14
Youth Advanced; compound bow, Tuesdays; ages 7-14
Adult Beginner; compound bow, Wednesdays; ages 15 and up
Adult Advanced; compound bow, Thursdays; ages 15 and up
Open recurve/longbow Fridays; all ages
All divisions need between four and nine participants. Registration is through April 19 at 7 p.m. The cost is $20 per person and includes two paper targets. The registration form is available at the park or at: www.parks.ky.gov (look under calendar of events for E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park.)
