FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Kentucky Arts Council is accepting applications for the
Architectural Artists Directory through Aug.15.

Professional artists age 21 or older whose work includes architectural elements, custom-made fixtures and uniquely crafted building materials and design elements are encouraged to apply.

"The Architectural Artists Directory is an adjudicated resource that connects builders, designers and private clients to talented artists," said Lori Meadows, arts council executive director. "The artists in the directory have proven that they have the capacity and creativity to create exquisite work to fit any space."

Participation is intended for artists whose work is constructed as an integral part of a room, building, outdoor space or other structure. Examples include cabinetry, murals, light fixtures, sinks and stained-glass windows.
