FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Kentucky State Parks are celebrating the return of spring and better weather with a March lodging special. Get a lodge room for two nights for $90!
“All 17 of our resort parks with lodges are open and ready for spring,” said Parks Commissioner Elaine Walker. “We want to encourage people to take advantage of the warmer temperatures to get outside and visit our parks.”
The lodging offer is good any day of the week March 1 through April 2 at these resort parks: Cumberland Falls, General Butler, Jenny Wiley, Kentucky Dam Village, Lake Barkley, Lake Cumberland and Natural Bridge.
The offer is good March 1 through April 2 Thursday through Saturday nights at these resort parks: Barren River Dam, Blue Licks Battlefield, Buckhorn Lake, Carter Caves, Dale Hollow Lake, Greenbo Lake, Kenlake, Pennyrile Forest, Pine Mountain and Rough River Dam.
Some blackout dates may apply at some parks. The resort parks have restaurants, hiking trails and other recreational opportunities.
