Portable building manufacturer to create 90 new jobs
FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 19, 2014) – Governor Steve Beshear today
announced EZ Portable Buildings Inc. plans to relocate its operations from
Illinois to McCracken County.

and invest $1.25 million into the project.

Buildings has been manufacturing and selling portable storage buildings since
2013. These customizable wooden structures come in 250 different shapes and
sizes. In addition to storage facilities, the company also produces small
houses and cabins.
To encourage the
investment and job growth in McCracken County, the Kentucky Economic
Development Finance Authority (KEDFA) preliminarily approved the company for
tax incentives up to $375,000 through the Kentucky Business Investment program.
The performance-based incentive allows a company to keep a portion of its
investment over the term of the agreement through corporate income tax credits
and wage assessments by meeting job and investment targets.
