FRANKFORT, Ky. (June 4, 2013) – The Kentucky Office of Homeland Security (KOHS) has scheduled five workshops to assist agencies in preparing applications for State Homeland Security Program (SHSP) grants.

Due to revised SHSP application issues, KOHS is requiring attendance at one of the workshops for those local government units who intend to make application for FFY 2013 funds.

Applications from city, county or special districts that do not have at least a representative at one of the workshops will not be accepted. This is not to imply that the application process has become more complicated, but with the current funding levels received by the Commonwealth, it is important to be aware of the information provided at these workshops.
