FRANKFORT, Ky. – Golfers can now go online to reserve tee times at all 16 of the golf courses operated by the Kentucky State Parks, Commissioner Elaine Walker announced today.
“This service will make it easier for our golf customers to make reservations,” Walker said. “It also makes our courses available to more golfers in Kentucky and other states.”
The online reservation system is operated by GolfNow, which is owned by The Golf Channel. Golfers can visit www.parks.ky.gov and click on the “GolfNow” logo to make a reservation. If you can’t find a time that suits your schedule, call the course to see if other times are available.
The Kentucky State Parks operate 16 courses across the state, and several courses have received national recognition. Twelve parks have 18-hole courses. The courses have pro shops and PGA professionals, and most offer lodging, meal and golf packages.
The Kentucky State Park System is composed of 49 state parks plus an interstate park shared with Virginia. The Department of Parks, an agency of the Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet, operates 17 resort parks with lodges -- more than any other state.
