FRANKFORT, Ky. (Jan. 27, 2017) - Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:
Jason Rittenberry has been appointed to the Louisville/Jefferson County Tourist and Convention Commission.
- Jason Rittenberry, of Louisville, is President/CEO of the Kentucky State Fair Board. He shall serve for a term expiring August 13, 2018.
The Louisville/Jefferson County Tourist and Convention Commission is made up of nine members, three of whom are appointed by the governor. The Commission is charged with establishing and promoting events in Louisville and Jefferson County.
Margaret Marie Adkins has been appointed to the Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
- Margaret Marie Adkins, of Richmond, is a Cochlear Implant Audiologist at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. She shall serve for a term expiring July 15, 2019.
The Kentucky Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology consists of eight gubernatorial appointees. The board regulates the licensing for speech and language pathologists and audiologists, and ensures that licensed practitioners perform according to the Board’s codes of conduct.
