FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 22, 2017) – Gov. Matt Bevin today made the following appointment to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:
William E. Summers has been appointed to the Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC) Board of Directors.
- William E. Summers, of Louisville, is a banker. Summers has been designated as Chairman of the Board and shall serve for a term expiring October 30, 2020. He will represent professional experience in auditing, financial accounting, municipal bond financing or investment banking.
The Kentucky Housing Corporation was created by the General Assembly in 1972 to provide affordable housing opportunities. As a self-supporting public corporation, KHC offers lower-than-market rate home mortgages, housing production financing, homeownership education/counseling, rental assistance, housing rehabilitation and supportive housing programs for special needs populations.
