Gov. Bevin Appoints Dr. Amy Johnson Staton to Kentucky Board of Veterinary Examiners

FRANKFORT, Ky. (April 6, 2017) – Gov. Matt Bevin today made the following appointment to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:

Dr. Amy Johnson Staton has been appointed to the Kentucky Board of Veterinary Examiners.

  • Dr. Amy Johnson Staton, of Salt Lick, is an assistant professor at Morehead State University. Stanton will represent veterinary technicians. She shall serve for a term expiring July 14, 2020.

The Kentucky Board of Veterinary Examiners has eight members, all appointed by the governor. The Board's mission is to regulate and control the licensing and conduct of veterinarians within the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
