FRANKFORT, Ky. (April 27, 2017) – Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:
Theodore R. Kuster, Kim Harpole and Stuart E. Brown II have been appointed to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 14th Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky. Francis Richard Hamilton has been reappointed.
- Theodore R. Kuster, of Paris, is retired. He shall serve for a term expiring January 1, 2018.
- Kim Harpole, of Georgetown, is a paraprofessional at the Scott County Board of Education. She shall serve for a term expiring January 1, 2020.
- Dr. Stuart E. Brown II, of Versailles, is an equine veterinarian. He shall serve for a term expiring January 1, 2020.
- Francis Richard Hamilton, of Georgetown, is an engineer. He shall serve for a term expiring January 1, 2018.
The 14th Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky encompasses Bourbon, Scott and Woodford counties.
The Judicial Nominating Commission consists of the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court (serving as chair), two members from the Kentucky Bar Association, and four gubernatorial appointees who are not members of the Kentucky Bar Association (equally representing the two major political parties). Members cannot hold any other public office or any office in a political party or organization.
