Gov. Bevin Makes Appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Aug. 24, 2017) – Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions: 

Glenda Wright, Cameron Jamar Galloway and Edward Louis Palmer have been appointed to the Juvenile Justice Advisory Board. 

  • Glenda Wright, of Owensboro, is a student at Murray State University. She will represent youth under age 24 and serve for a term expiring September 15, 2020.
  • Cameron Jamar Galloway, of Rineyville, is a student at Kentucky State University. He will represent youth under age 24 and serve for a term expiring September 15, 2020.
  • Edward Louis Palmer, of Radcliff, is a pastor. He will represent private non-profit organizations and serve for a term expiring September 15, 2021.

The Juvenile Justice Advisory Board develops program criteria for early juvenile intervention, diversion, and prevention projects. The Board was created under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Act of 1974 and consists of no less than 15 and no more than 33 members.
