- Crime Victim Compensation
  The 1976 General Assembly established the Crime Victims Compensation Board to provide assistance to victims who are physically injured because of a crime.
- Crime Victim Notification
  Kentucky is currently the only state in the country to operate a statewide computerized victim notification system for all state penitentiaries, county and regional jails and juvenile detention facilities.
