Gov. Bevin Sets Date for Special Election to Fill Kentucky's 18th House District Seat

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Sept. 10, 2019) – Gov. Matt Bevin today executed a writ of election to fill the vacancy resulting from the resignation (effective Sept. 10, 2019) of Rep. Tim Moore, who has represented Grayson County and part of Hardin County in the General Assembly.

The special election to fill the Kentucky House of Representatives 18th District seat will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019.

In accordance with KRS 118.730 and 118.740, the executive order was filed with the Kentucky Secretary of State's office and also forwarded to the sheriffs of Grayson and Hardin counties.
