Council on Postsecondary Education sets meetings

The Council on Postsecondary Education will hold meetings June 21-22 at the Council’s offices, located at 1024 Capital Center Drive in Frankfort.

Thursday, June 21

12 p.m. EDT – The Council’s Presidential Search Committee will meet in Conference Room A. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/presidentialsearch.
2:30 p.m. EDT – The Council will hold a work session in Conference Room A. An agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings. No formal action will be taken.
5:30 p.m. EDT – The Council will attend a dinner at The Goose and Gander, 133 East Main in Midway. No formal action will be taken.

Friday, June 22

8 a.m. EDT – The Council’s Executive Committee will meet in Conference Room B. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings.
9 a.m. EDT – The Council will hold a business meeting in Conference Room A. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings. Lunch will be provided for the Council at the conclusion of the meeting.

The Council on Postsecondary Education is leading efforts to get more Kentuckians more highly educated. By 2030, at least 60 percent of working-age adults in Kentucky will need to have earned a postsecondary education degree or credential to meet expected workforce demands.
