Attorney General Coleman Announces 2024 Kentucky Opioid Symposium

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Sept. 30, 2024) – Attorney General Russell Coleman and the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission announced they are hosting the 2024 Kentucky Opioid Symposium October 21-22, 2024 at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville. The two-day event will bring together experts, advocates and practitioners for presentations on best practices in recovery, prevention, treatment and grant writing.

Anyone interested in learning more about the Commonwealth’s comprehensive response to the opioid-fueled drug crisis and partnering with the Commission is encouraged to attend. Speakers will include Attorney General Coleman, Opioid Abatement Commission Executive Director Chris Evans, Treasurer Mark Metcalf and more. The Symposium will also showcase previous recipients of grants from the Opioid Abatement Commission.
