FRANKFORT, Ky. (April 18, 2022) – Kentucky Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Director Erica Hargis today announced the promotion of Chasidy Vincent to assistant supervisor in District 2. District 2 includes Allen, Butler, Christian, Edmonson, Hopkins, Logan, Simpson and Todd counties. Vincent will be located in the Madisonville office.
“Vincent brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to this role, including of general probation and parole work, as well as of the class D and home incarceration program,” said Hargis. “She has worked hard to foster solid relationships with auxiliary agencies and community partners. Her calm approach to this high stress environment has earned the respect of her supervisors and co-workers. I am confident she will continue to be a successful leader and visible role model for staff. I am proud to welcome her to the District 2 leadership team.”
Vincent began her Corrections career in 2007 as a probation and parole officer in District 13. In this role, she supervised a regular caseload and wrote presentence investigation reports (PSIs). In 2012, she transferred to the Reentry Branch as a classification and treatment officer for the home incarceration program (HIP). Her duties included meeting with offenders eligible for home incarceration in eight different county jails.
In 2015, Vincent transferred back to District 2 Probation and Parole. Since returning, she has supervised a regular caseload, written PSIs, and acted as the District 2 sex offender officer and class D coordinator/HIP officer.
A graduate of Murray State University, Vincent received a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in political science in 2004. Vincent was the recipient of the 2019 DOC Achievement Award for District 2.
