RICHMOND, Ky. – (Jan. 27, 2020) – In collaboration with the Fort Boonesborough Foundation, Fort Boonesborough State Park will host a series of “Fireside Chats” featuring famous characters from Kentucky history.
Beginning on Feb. 8, 2020, Fort Boonesborough State Park will offer a “Taste of Frontier Fare” from 5:30-6:15 p.m. followed by the historical program at 6:45 p.m.
- Feb. 8, 2020: Daniel Boone, Kentucky explorer and pioneer, portrayed by Kevin Hardesty.
- Feb. 15, 2020: Col. John Holder, early pioneer, portrayed by David Trimble.
- Feb. 22, 2020: Daniel Trabue, early Kentucky pioneer who kept a journal of his life, presented by Richard Phelps
- Feb. 29, 2020: Maggie Delaney, indentured servant, portrayed by Carol Jarboe.
Tickets are $15 for adults, and $5 for children under 12. Due to limited seating, reservations are required. To make a reservation, please call 859-527-3131 to reserve your seat today. All proceeds for the events will go towards the benefit of the Fort Boonesborough Foundation.
