Frankfort, Ky. (September 13, 2024) – Secretary of State Michael Adams is renewing his partnership with the Kentucky Guild of Brewers and the Kentucky Wineries Association to promote poll worker recruitment, joined now by the Kentucky Restaurant Association.
“Conducting elections is a team sport, and I am grateful for the help of Kentucky’s wineries, breweries, and restaurants in recruiting poll workers,” said Adams.
The hang tags and table tents on display in the restaurants, breweries, and wineries request volunteers to work the polls in November and have QR codes directing to sos.ky.gov where interested parties can apply to become poll workers.
“The Kentucky Guild of Brewers is proud to be part of the Kentucky Secretary of State's Office poll worker campaign for the third year in a row, encouraging our community to volunteer at the polls to ensure a smooth election day for all Kentuckians,” said Jessy Harding, Executive Director of the Kentucky Guild of Brewers. “As a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for the Kentucky brewing industry in all pertinent matters of legislation and governmental administration, it's an honor to support our shared civic duty."
