The 2016 session of the General Assembly adopted HB 585 which made numerous changes to 911 statues in Kentucky, including changing the name of the State Board which has jurisdiction over wireless 911 services. Effective July 15, 2016, the CMRS Board has been renamed the Kentucky 911 Services Board.
