Team Kentucky Announces New, More Accessible Location for Taxpayer Service Center in Louisville

The Louisville Taxpayer Service Center will temporarily pause services from March 4-5 while staff transition to new office

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 26, 2026) – Today, Team Kentucky announced that the Louisville Taxpayer Service Center (TSC), operated by the Kentucky Department of Revenue (DOR), will be moving to a new and improved location next week.

The center is currently located at 600 Cedar St., 2nd Floor W, Louisville. Its services will pause temporarily on March 4 and 5 while staff transition to the new office. The center will resume regular business hours on March 6 at 8 a.m. at its new location off Hurstbourne Parkway:

320 Whittington Parkway
Louisville, KY 40222

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET (no appointment necessary)

“We encourage folks in Louisville and surrounding counties to visit the Taxpayer Service Center, where our team will be ready to assist with any questions they may have about filing in 2026,” said Department of Revenue Commissioner Tom Miller. “This new location will offer more convenient parking and better air conditioning to make it easier for Kentuckians to get their questions answered.”

The new site is more centrally located for the seven counties served by the Louisville TSC (Bullitt, Hardin, Jefferson, Larue, Oldham, Shelby and Spencer). It is a four-minute walk and 0.2 mile drive from the Louisville - Hurstbourne Driver Licensing Regional Office, so Kentuckians will be able to access multiple services from state government staff in one trip, if they choose.

Visitors who live near the current office can access the new office via public transportation on TARC’s Bus Route – 31 (Shelbyville Road).
