FRANKFORT, Ky. (June 26, 2020) – Gov. Andy Beshear has made the following appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions:
Gov. Beshear has appointed Rosalind Bryant to the vacancy of the office of Magistrate for the First District of Fayette County, Kentucky.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Andrew Owen as a member of the Board of Directors of the Louisville Arena Authority, Inc. He has also appointed Leslie Geoghegan as Chair of the Authority.
- Andrew Owen of Louisville is a real estate agent for Preston Thomas Properties. He shall replace Scott Cox, whose term has expired. Mr. Owen shall serve for a term expiring January 9, 2024.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Donna Ward as a member of the Racing Health and Welfare Fund, Inc.
- Donna Ward of Lexington is a retired horse trainer. She shall replace Andre Regard, whose term has expired. Ms. Ward shall serve for a term expiring June 26, 2021.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Clarence Yancey as a member of the Board of Auctioneers.
- Clarence Yancey of Louisville is retired. He shall replace Rodney Eldridge, whose term has expired. Mr. Yancey shall serve for a term expiring June 15, 2023.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Dr. Erica Lemberger as a member of the Board of Nursing.
- Dr. Erica Lemberger of Louisville is a professor of nursing at Spalding University. She shall replace Teresa Huber, whose term has expired. Dr. Lemberger shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2024.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Michael Johnson as a member of the Kentucky 911 Services Board.
- Michael Johnson of Ivel is Director of Technical Operations for East Kentucky Network. He shall replace Donald Kiely, whose term has expired. Mr. Johnson shall serve for a term expiring July 15, 2022.
Gov. Beshear has appointed Ben Crittenden and Dr. Kimathi Doss as members of the Kentucky Traumatic Brain Injury Trust Fund Board.
- Ben Crittenden of Lexington is an attorney at Morgan Potter McGarvey. He shall replace Mary Hass, whose term has expired. Mr. Crittenden shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2024.
- Dr. Kimathi Doss of Prospect is a neurosurgeon at Norton Healthcare. He shall replace David Sun, whose term has expired. Dr. Doss shall serve for a term expiring June 30, 2024.
Gov. Beshear has appointed David Samford as a member of the Executive Branch Ethics Commission.
- David Samford of Lexington is an attorney for Goss Samford PPLC. He was nominated by the Auditor of Public Accounts. Mr. Samford shall serve for a term expiring May 27, 2021.
