Friday marks 25th anniversary of terrorist attacks
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Sept. 10, 2026) – Gov. Andy Beshear has directed that flags at all state office buildings be lowered to half-staff on Friday, Sept. 11, to commemorate Patriot Day and honor those lost in the 9/11 attacks 25 years ago.
Gov. Beshear encourages individuals, businesses and organizations throughout the commonwealth to join in this tribute. Flag status information is available at governor.ky.gov/flag-status.
