“This is a very important role in the day-to-day operations and success of the state’s finances. I am confident Josh has the knowledge and detail-oriented mindset to help oversee and administer these imperative functions of the Commonwealth,” Treasurer Ball said. “I am excited to welcome Josh to my team.”
Prior to serving in the Public Protection Cabinet, Rayborn served as Director of Consumer Protection at the Kentucky Department of Insurance. A Frankfort native, Rayborn attended the University of the Cumberlands and is a pastor at St. John’s Baptist Church in Frankfort.
“Thank you, Treasurer Ball, for this opportunity to serve the Commonwealth,” Rayborn said. “The Treasury is an important office and I look forward to furthering the mission of actively monitoring and protecting Kentucky taxpayer dollars.”
