Carlet Hagan Named New Park Manager at Nolin Lake State Park

FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 25, 2019) – Carlet Hagan is the new park manager at Nolin Lake State Park, Kentucky State Parks Commissioner Donnie Holland announced today.

Hagan, a Vine Grove native, served as an instructor and graduate assistant advisor at Western Kentucky University as well as three years as the bass fishing coach for the collegiate team.  She spent six years on the B.A.S.S. circuit as a professional angler.  She also worked as a kayak programmer at Lost River Cave and most recently served as the customer experience manager at Goodman Chevrolet Cadillac Nissan in Glasgow.  She continues to volunteer for Kentucky B.A.S.S. Nation and the Kentucky B.A.S.S. Federation.

Hagan is a graduate of Western Kentucky University, earning a degree in recreation administration and her master’s in kinesiology sport and recreation management.  While at WKU, she was chosen as the Outstanding Undergraduate Recreation Student and a President’s Scholar.

Hagan, her husband and two sons live at Mammoth Cave, Kentucky.

Nolin Lake State Park, located just north of Mammoth Cave national Park, has a campground, boat ramp, beach, picnic areas, and bike and hiking trails.
