OLIVE HILL, Ky. (Jan. 16, 2024) – Kentucky State Parks’ 100-year celebrations are underway, and Carter Caves State Resort Park will host a Winter Adventure Weekend on Jan. 25-28.
This annual event features activities such as wild and commercial cave tours, hiking, rappelling, winter survival workshops, tree climbing and more. Beginning Thursday, Jan. 25, at 12:30 p.m. and ending on the afternoon of Sunday, Jan. 28, the event is flexible, and guests may arrive and depart at their discretion.
The price of general admission is $25 per person, with lodging, dining and a la carte activities at additional costs.

Carter Caves State Resort Park is located at 344 Caveland Drive in Olive Hill, Kentucky, and is known for having the highest concentration of caves in the commonwealth. Accommodations are available at the Lewis Caveland Lodge, along with cottages and a campground.
