Council on Postsecondary Education sets meetings

The Council on Postsecondary Education will hold meetings Sept. 20-21 at the Council’s offices, located at 1024 Capital Center Drive in Frankfort.

Thursday, Sept. 20

  • 11 a.m. EDT – The Council’s Presidential Search Committee will meet in Conference Room B. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/presidentialsearch.html#searchprocess
  • 2 p.m. EDT – The Council will hold a work session in Conference Room A/B, located in the Attorney General’s offices in the Capital Center 1024 building. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings.html
  • 4 p.m. EDT – The Council will hold a reception for outgoing CPE President Bob King in Conference Room A. No formal action will be taken.
  • 6:30 p.m. EDT – The Council will attend a dinner at Bourbon on Main, located at 103 West Main in Frankfort. No formal action will be taken.

Friday, Sept. 21

  • 9 a.m. EDT – The Council will hold a business meeting in Conference Room A. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings. Lunch will be provided for the Council at the conclusion of the meeting.

The Council on Postsecondary Education is leading efforts to get more Kentuckians more highly educated. By 2030, at least 60 percent of working-age adults in Kentucky will need to have earned a postsecondary education degree or credential to meet expected workforce demands.
