Council on Postsecondary Education sets meetings

The Council on Postsecondary Education will hold meetings Feb. 21-22 at the Council's offices in Frankfort.

Thursday, Feb. 21

  • 8 a.m. EST – The Council’s Nominating Committee will meet in Conference Room D. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings.html
  • 8:30 a.m. EST – The Council will hold a networking breakfast in Conference Room A. No formal action will be taken.
  • 9 a.m. EST – The Council will hold a retreat in Conference Room A. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings.html. No formal action will be taken.
  • 6:30 p.m. EST – The Council will attend a dinner at Serifini's, 243 West Broadway in Frankfort. No formal action will be taken.

Friday, Feb. 22

  • 8 a.m. EST – The Council hold a networking breakfast for campus presidents and the Board of Student Body Presidents in Conference Room A. No formal action will be taken.
  • 8:30 a.m. EST - The  Council, campus presidents and the Board of Student Body Presidents will meet in Conference Room A. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings.html. No formal action will be taken.
  • 10 a.m. EST -- The Council will hold a business meeting in Conference Room A. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings.html.

The Council on Postsecondary Education is leading efforts to get more Kentuckians more highly educated. By 2030, at least 60 percent of working-age adults in Kentucky will need to have earned a postsecondary education degree or credential to meet expected workforce demands.
