Council on Postsecondary Education sets meetings

The Council on Postsecondary Education will hold meetings June 27-28 at Midway University’s Learning Resource Center, 512 E. Stephens St. in Midway.

Thursday, June 27

• 3 p.m.– The Council will hold a work session in Room 207-209. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings.html. No formal action will be taken.
• 5 p.m. – The Council will participate in a tour of the Equestrian Complex. No formal action will be taken.
• 6 p.m. – The Council will attend a reception and dinner in Mars Hall. No formal action will be taken.

Friday, June 28

• 8 a.m. – The Council’s Executive Committee will hold a meeting in Room 014. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings.html.
• 9 a.m. -- The Council will hold a business meeting in Room 207-209. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings.html.

The Council on Postsecondary Education is leading efforts to get more Kentuckians more highly educated. By 2030, at least 60 percent of working-age adults in Kentucky will need to have earned a postsecondary education degree or credential to meet expected workforce demands.
