Kentucky Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy yields progress

The Council on Postsecondary Education has completed its first comprehensive review of campus progress tied to Kentucky’s Policy for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Kentucky is the only state in the nation to tie new academic program approval to outcomes of campus progress toward equal educational opportunity goals.

Kentucky’s work has caught the attention  of Complete College America, a non-profit organization focused on highly effective structural reforms of higher education that improve student success. A blog article by CPE’s General Counsel and Vice President Travis Powell is featured on the organization’s website: New Policy to Improve Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Yields Progress.
