Council on Postsecondary Education sets meetings

The Council on Postsecondary Education will hold meetings Oct. 30-31 in the Emerging Technologies Building at Hopkinsville Community College, 720 North Drive in Hopkinsville.

Wednesday, Oct. 30

  • 2 p.m. CST – The Council will attend an OnBoard tutorial session. No formal action will be taken.
  • 2:30 p.m. CST – The Council will hold a work session in Room 106. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/aboutus/cpemeetings.html. No formal action will be taken.
  • 4:45 p.m. CST – The Council will attend a campus briefing, followed by a walking tour of campus. No formal action will be taken.
  • 6:30 p.m. CST – The Council will attend a reception and dinner at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club, 303 Country Club Lane. No formal action will be taken.

The Council on Postsecondary Education is leading efforts to get more Kentuckians more highly educated. By 2030, at least 60 percent of working-age adults in Kentucky will need to have earned a postsecondary education degree or credential to meet expected workforce demands.
