CPE to host 2020 Progress Report Webinar

The Council on Postsecondary Education’s Data and Advanced Analytics team will host a 2020 Progress Report webinar Tuesday, May 19, at  1 p.m. EDT. The report measures progress made by Kentucky’s public and independent campuses between the academic years 2014-15 to 2018-19.

Key areas that will be included during the webinar include:

Making Progress

  • Educational attainment
  • Degree/credential production
  • Progress of underprepared students
  • Graduation rates, achievement gaps

Challenges Ahead

  • In-state college going rate
  • Kentucky adults enrolled in college
  • Net price at public four-year institutions

Policy and campus partners, as well as the media and public, are invited to participate. Participants can ask questions during the webinar by posting in the comment section below the video.

The Council on Postsecondary Education is leading efforts to get more Kentuckians more highly educated. By 2030, at least 60 percent of working-age adults in Kentucky will need to have earned a postsecondary education degree or credential to meet expected workforce demands.
