CPE’s Higher EDquity webinar to feature AIKCU President OJ Oleka

Join the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education for the next installment of the popular Higher EDquity webinar series, Anti-Racism: A Discussion with Dr. OJ Oleka. The webinar will begin at 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Oleka, president of the Association of Independent Kentucky Colleges and Universities, will discuss the state's new anti-racism coalition, AntiRacism Kentucky, which focuses on bipartisan policy work to help eliminate institutional racism within local and state government. Oleka will also share his personal story, his motivation for change and formation of the group, and what higher education professionals can do to help the effort.

Participants may submit questions in advance as part of registration.

The Council on Postsecondary Education is leading efforts to get more Kentuckians more highly educated. By 2030, at least 60% of working-age adults in Kentucky will need to have earned a postsecondary education degree or credential to meet expected workforce demands.
