CPE’s Higher EDquity webinar to focus on balancing campus free speech and inclusion

Join the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education for the next installment of the popular Higher EDquity webinar series, Campus Free Speech: Protecting Rights While Protecting Students. The webinar will begin at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 3. Presenters include William Thro, general counsel, University of Kentucky; Travis Powell, vice president and general counsel, Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education; and Jeffrey Sun, professor of higher education, affiliate professor of law, and associate dean for innovation and strategic partnerships, University of Louisville. The speakers will share valuable strategies for navigating first amendment issues within the classroom, pose practical applications for various settings, and provide guidance on fostering civil dialogue and discourse.
