CPE’s Higher EDquity webinar to focus on inclusive strategies for students with disabilities

Join the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education for the next installment of the popular Higher EDquity webinar series, Creating a Community of Inclusion: Actions for Accessibility Allyship. The webinar will begin at noon ET on Tuesday, April 13.

Presenter Dr. Megan Aanstoos, Kentucky Commercialization Ventures, will share strategies for creating a more welcoming environment for individuals with accessibility needs. Discussion will include how to build accessibility into campus operations, including tips on how to empower faculty, students and staff, build better environments and continue the hard conversations without increasing the burden on affected individuals.

The Council on Postsecondary Education is leading efforts to get more Kentuckians more highly educated. By 2030, at least 60% of working-age adults in Kentucky will need to have earned a postsecondary education degree or credential to meet expected workforce demands.
