Commonwealth Education Continuum to hold meeting Jan. 4

State policy leaders will gather Jan. 4 for the fifth meeting of the Commonwealth Education Continuum, a statewide effort to help students successfully progress through each level of Kentucky’s education system and into the workforce.

The continuum will review prioritized recommendations and agency requests associated with implementation. The group will also develop its 2022 annual objective and steps toward formalizing workgroups.

The meeting will be held via livestream at 1 p.m. ET, Tuesday, Jan. 4 on the Council's YouTube Channel. The agenda is available on the Council's website.

The continuum is co-chaired by Council on Postsecondary Education President Aaron Thompson, Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman and Commissioner of Education Jason Glass.

The group’s work focuses on three goals: improving postsecondary transitions, increasing equitable access and success in early postsecondary opportunities and increasing the diversity of the teacher workforce.
