State policy and education leaders will meet 1 p.m. ET, Wednesday, Sept. 20 for the quarterly meeting of the Commonwealth Education Continuum (CEC). The agenda and livestream credentials can be accessed on the Council's website.
Members will discuss the educator workforce, focusing on retention and the 2022 Impact Kentucky Working Conditions survey results, as well as recruitment through summer bridge programs. The CEC will also discuss progress on its recommendations related to first-year college success and completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The Continuum is co-chaired by Kentucky Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman, Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education President Dr. Aaron Thompson, and Kentucky Commissioner of Education Dr. Jason Glass.
