The mission of the Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities is to take the lead, in partnership with other key stakeholders, in building the capacity of communities and systems to provide individually determined supports for individuals with mental retardation and other developmental disabilities, and their families, that increase their opportunities for choice and inclusion as valued citizens of Kentucky's communities.
