Kentucky Department of Corrections Deputy Commissioner Kim Potter-Blair today announced the promotion of Leigh “Ambie” Ingram to Corrections Program Administrator for the Division of Parole and Victim Services. She will assume her new duties on December 1.
Ingram began her career with the Department of Corrections in 2000 as an Offender Information Specialist I. Two years later she transferred to the Office of the Parole Board, now known as the Division of Parole and Victim Services, as a Parole Board Specialist I. In 2004 she was promoted to Parole Board Specialist II and in 2007 was reclassified to Internal Policy Analyst II. Ingram works with numerous areas within the department on a daily basis. She is well respected by not only her co-workers within the division, but also the Offender Information Services staff, Jail staff, and the Parole Board. She will continue to be an asset to the division while in this new position.
Ingram is a graduate of Western Kentucky University where she earned a bachelors degree in fine arts.
