The Council on Postsecondary Education will meet Thursday, September 12, at 9 a.m. EDT in Ballroom VII-X at the Marriott Downtown, in Louisville, Ky. The agenda is available at http://cpe.ky.gov/about/cpe/meetings/2013/091213.htm.
The 2013 Governor's Conference on Postsecondary Education Trusteeship will follow the Council meeting at 2 p.m. and will run through Friday afternoon, September 13. Location is also at the Marriott Downtown.
The conference, “Building a Stronger Workforce through Postsecondary Education,” will focus on higher education’s leadership role in cultivating economic and community development. The Acorn and OAK awards, given to outstanding faculty and alumni, will be presented at the luncheon on Friday.
