FRANKFORT, Ky. — Melissa Oesch, of Lexington, who makes handcrafted journals and other books, has been selected as the Kentucky Arts Council’s Featured Artist for September.

Oesch creates journals, sketchbooks and other one-of-a-kind items made from “upcycled” materials through her business, Re-Imagined by Luna.

  • A story about Oesch’s work.
  • A video of Oesch discussing her work.
  • A portfolio of her work in the Kentucky Crafted Directory.
  • Contact information for the artist.

The Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, creates opportunities for Kentuckians to value, participate in and benefit from the arts. Kentucky Arts Council funding is provided by the Kentucky General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts.
