FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentucky woodworker Jerry Hollon, of Richmond, has been selected as the Kentucky Arts Council's Featured Artist for August.
Hollon crafts cutting boards and other functional kitchen items using Appalachian hardwoods that are locally grown and harvested. Each of his works is a genuine piece of Kentucky art that showcases the grain, figure and color variations of the wood.
